Sorry for posting the report late but the for this moment is that Corolla is about to get a nasty thunderstorm. Last night, the wind turned and blew off the ocean. This created wind chop waste high surf. But until the thunderstorms move through the area, you should stay off the beach.  GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
