High Tide 9:54AM/ Low Tide 4:12PM

Even at high tide I was surprised to find swell breaking in mid-Corolla. I took these pictures an hour before high tide. At this posting we have very glassy conditions and the hope of waist high swell. Question: Should I go surfing now at high when it is glassy or what for the tide to drop but it could get choppy?
