On Thursday, Feb. 23 from 6-8pm, First Flight Hill School located in Kill Devil Hills is having a fundraiser for science teacher and cheerleading coach Stephanie Motz (and her husband, Chad). Since October, Stephanie has been unable to work due to serious health issues. The FFHS faculty and staff are joining together to raise money for Stephanie and Chad to help offset some of the mounting medical bills. The variety show will feature the amazing talents of some of the FFHS faculty. Some of our not-so-talented faculty have also volunteered to make you laugh as well. There will also be a silent auction of goods and services provided by the faculty, staff and community. So bring your checkbook! The cost to enter is a donation in hopes that you’ll also buy a raffle ticket and bid on some of their great stuff which includes a UNC basketball signed by the 2011-2012 Tar Heels, two MLB baseballs signed by NY Mets player David Wright, or a week at a house in Duck.
