More Snow Fall on the Outer Banks

The residents and the tourists on the Outer Banks got to wake up Thursday morning with a pretty decent little snow shower. The weather channels were all calling for a quick 2-6 inch dump and that’s pretty much what we got — just enough for a snowman or two and maybe a prickly ride down the Wright Bro’s Memorial if you were brave enough. The snow came quickly and left almost just as fast. Luckily for us, Lensman Matt Lusk was able to savor some of the winter imagery for us to see.Check out Matt Lusk’s Blog with photos HERE.

Local Photographer Matt Lusk Chases Swell Across Snow-Covered Coastline

Local Photographer Matt Lusk has certainly been busy over the last few swells…. cold water/weather and all. His unique shots of capturing that euphoric moment for surfers is constantly progressing. One of his recent accomplishments was a featured photo in “Stab” magazine where they only pick 15 of the best photos from around the world to be featured in the latest publication. Recently, Lusk took a road trip from the Outer Banks up to New England on a cold wintery swell and captured more of those magical moments.
