With 7 albums out over the last several years, this band has continued to gain my interest. It’s a blend of perfect song writing paired with powerful lyrics and a flawless voice. Switchfoot is now in the post production of their 8th album (expected to be released on iTunes September 27) “Vice Verses” – which is anticipated to be their best record yet. Stay tuned-in to this band. They are definitely a force to recon with.

Funk / Jazz / Rock / Blues / Chill / Fusion are just a few adjectives that describe this band. They can come out firing or keep it super mellow and jazzy (but more than likely, they will find a way to get every head in the house bouncing. Accomplished musicians include front man/master on guitar: DJ Williams and his band… with some of the most talented players in Richmond: Gordon Jones, Dusty Simmons, Brian Mahne, Mark Ingraham, and Todd Herrington. You won’t be disappointed. Live this Friday night at the Outer Banks Brewing Station. Show starts at 10pm, Friday night, April 15, 2011.
