It’s been a long, flat, cold, jelly-infested summer and if you live near the beach, you’ve probably started taking up hobbies like chess or badminton. FINALLY, there’s a glimmer of hope. Looks like the deceased Tropical Storm Colin might come back to life, but even if it does, it should remain well east of the U.S. coastline. It might, however, threaten Bermuda in a couple of days with estimated 60 mph sustained winds and push a decent ground swell our way. Colin briefly grew into a tropical storm and then degenerated into an open wave on Tuesday. Now its remnants are pulling themselves together, bringing it back to tropical storm status. Officially, forecasters give it a 50 percent chance of developing over the next two days.
